Four years ago

Today is Jordan and my four year wedding anniversary. It's been a crazy four years, to say the least! I was reminiscing this afternoon at the gross differences between my day today and my day four years ago.
Four years ago, I woke up at the crack of dawn to my alarm, showered and headed to the church where I got my hair done, was surrounded by my closest friends and family, wore the most expensive dress I've ever owned, did my makeup the best i ever have, and married my best friend. We then ate some awesome food and headed to the beach for a week. Not a care in the world!
Fast forward four years to today... I was woken up by my 3 month old at 7am to eat, and told Jordan a quick goodbye as he walked out the door at work at 7:10. I then for the next hour and a half fed holland and Hudson, cleaned up the kitchen mess, changed poopie diapers, got us all dressed and out the door to run errands by 9:25. No shower or makeup for me, because if I want to get my errands done before holland needs to eat again at 11:15, then I need to get a move on. I do manage to thrown on tennis shoes, athletic shorts and a tshirt before loading up in my van. That's right, my swagger wagon. A minivan.
We run errands, return home where I feed hols and share a pot of Mac and cheese and some apple sauce with my 2 year old for lunch and finally get them both down for naps. But not before I am covered in spit up. Which I didn't realize till now-am still wearing that spit up covered shirt.
I fight for the motivation to get anything done during their nap time, and do manage to work on a little of decorations for Hudson's bday party this Sunday.
Kids wake up, I feed hols again and Jordan picks up our favorite take out pizza-papa Murphy's-for dinner on his way home at 6:30pm.
I just put hols to bed now at 8:45, and am about to start this all over again tomorrow.
Man, a lot has changed in four years. Thankful, though, that everything is part of our Lord's perfect plan for our good and His glory.
Happy anniversary, babe. Love you.
