If you can't handle a poop story, don't read this :)
You know you've made it as a mom when you sit up your 10 week old in the middle of feeding her only to find a puddle of poop in your lap, as well as all over your boppy pillow and burp rag... But she somehow barely has a dot of it on her onesie. You wish someone was there to help you get up without getting poop everywhere, but remember you're alone. Dagumit. Somehow you manage to contain it all and get you both changed and baby-wiped down-no time for a shower. You then proceed to wake up your two year old and run out the door for an 8:30am (why did i think that was a good idea?!) pediatrician checkup leaving all of said dirty clothes on the counter to clean later, and feed him apple slices and a granola bar in the car on your way down 280 at 8am. (can someone say rush hour?!) You then, after running errands all morning, including a visit to see daddy at his new job, finally get the kids down for a nap only to then spend a great deal of naptime scrubbing said dirty clothes only to find out you're out of your favorite stain cleaner, and must resort to (gasp!) bleach. and it's only 1pm.
Here's hoping my new tank top and our boppy will look like new in a couple hours!
I guess I've officially made it as a mommy :)
On a better note, my kiddos were about near perfect angels on our errand running. They're such loves:) figured I wanted to end on a good note! :)

Life isn't always as it seems
I want to stand on a soapbox for just a minute. It drives me crazy how people (myself guilty at times!) seem to only put the good stuff out there on Facebook/twitter/blog land for other people to read. It's rare that people will say how their day is really going, or confess that they just may have woken up feeling a little bit fragile that day. Im not saying you should bare your entire soul to the whole world, but just to be real and not feel the pressure to project a perfect image that probably isnt true anyway. (no i dont have anyone in particular in mind! I promise :) )
Well, I have a lot of those fragile days some weeks. I am so blessed by the Lord in so many way that I will never fully grasp all of them, but that doesn't mean every day is easy. Sometimes I wonder if I change another diaper if I will literally scream. But those diapers won't be around forever, and they are part of being a mommy to two precious kiddos who I love more than anything. So I just remind myself of that and grab the wipes. I also wonder at times if I am a horrible mom for random reasons that are just plain stupid.
So there. There's the start of my trying to be real in the little ways. Lord, give me the ability to love my kids, my husband and those you have put around me like you would love them. I've got nothing without you!!

And now we're four!
The newest member of our family has finally arrived :) Holland Christina Anderson made her grand entrance on March 4 at 11:50am. She was 7lbs9oz and 20.5" long.
She's such a sweet girl, pretty easy going as long as she's not too hungry or tired. She's a great sleeper like her brother at night, but is not usually as long a napper. All that is to say, she's a keeper and we'll hang on to her! Just wanted to give a little update... More to come!
